FOOD SAFETY STANDARDS

POPINA has HACCP, WQA (Woolworths Quality Assurance), ORGANIC, KOSHER and HALAL accreditation and is committed to a program of continuous improvement in terms of manufacturing capability as well as product quality.

As many of the raw materials used e.g. fruit, nuts, grains and seeds are subject to seasonal fluctuations, POPINA’S food technicians have to keep abreast of the global environment. We monitor these ingredients on behalf of our customers and report on circumstances that may affect the consistency of supply, quality or price.

The characteristics of ingredients have a way of altering when mixed - this means constant checking and testing in the laboratory as a preventative measure.
